Description of mesotherapy (micro-needle) treatments
The therapeutic system called micro-needle or mesotherapy is the most efficient process to administrate transdermal cosmetic products into the deep layers of skin. A roller composed of very fine needles is used on the skin to create a multitude of microscopic channels that stimulate the production of collagen and of elastin fibers. These channels improve the penetration of active ingredients and replace the old and damaged skin cells with new cells, which gives back the skin its rejuvenated look. Such a system reduces the appearance of wrinkles, increases the dermal and epidermal thickness, while improving the global texture of your skin.

Mesotherapy is strongly discouraged when you suffer from severe acne outbursts, unhealed lesions or wounds, psoriasis, herpes, eczema, warts, wounded beauty mark, irritated skin, fungal infections or open wounds.
It is not recommended to combine this program with other skin care treatments that are potentially irritating or making the skin more sensitive. After the treatment, it is important not to expose the skin to sun. You should use an appropriate sunscreen at all times when you go outside.
For hygienic reasons, the users of this treatment must mandatorily own their own micro-needle rollers.
We suggest that you respect the following recommendations before your treatment:
– If you suffer from cold sores (herpes labialis) and still wish to get a treatment of your lips and the contour of the mouth, we strongly recommend that you take an antiviral medication (Valtrex) to avoid an after-treatment eruption of cold sores.
– If you are following a medical treatment involving anti-inflammatory drugs, anticoagulants or antibiotics, certain restrictions apply. Our specialist will explain such restrictions to you at the time of your consultation.
– Avoid any intake of alcohol, AspirineMD or AdvilMD at least 24 hours before your appointment.
The treatment is not recommended to pregnant women or mothers who are breast-feeding.
All treatments last about two hours and are executed under the supervision of a health professional. A skin-surface anaesthetics (topical) is applied to ensure your greatest comfort during the treatments.

This technology increases the efficiency of the treatment and improves the penetration of the active therapeutic agents selected for you.
This procedure is absolutely pain-free. After the micro-needle treatment, some slight redness and fine flaky skin may appear and last from 24 to 72 hours. They will disappear quickly and progressively, to reveal a healthy skin and a glowing complexion!
Mesotherapy treatments (micro-needles) is indicated to stimulate the regeneration of the epidermal cells and of the fibroblasts that are responsible for the production of collagen and elastin fibers of your face or other areas of your body.
Six treatments, booked every 4 to 6 weeks, are usually required to get optimal results. After your initial therapy, we recommend that you keep maintaining the achieved results with a seasonal appointment.
